Job Summary

An exciting opportunity to join our organisation and make a real difference to the lives of young people in Herefordshire.

We are looking to appoint an Education Manager to start on 2nd September 2019. The role will be based at Whitecross Hereford but work across schools and partner organisations in the county and beyond.

We support schools in the area of Physical Education, physical activity and school sport; this role will be key in taking our support and development work to the next level.

We are looking for someone to deliver advice, support and training to schools and  

advocate the importance of physical activity in making a difference to the individual child and whole school.

The candidate will be rooted in education and have a clear understanding of the health and wellbeing, PE and school sport landscape locally and nationally. We need someone with their own ideas, but who can also adopt our strategy. The ability to work independently is important, as well as being a true team player, with commitment to partnership working. Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills are a must, along with a clear energy for working in this field.
