What our colleagues say

We asked Will: What opportunities has YST given you to grow and develop?
"YST is a safe environment where you can learn from your mistakes. The biggest opportunity I have had to grow and develop came from a situation where I had to learn from a mistake. I received some tough third-party feedback which I had to deal with head on, and after some hard reflection I used this to then take more personal responsibility and develop my leadership skills."

What our colleagues say

We asked Julie Robbins: What opportunities has YST given you to grow and develop?
"Youth Sport Trust has given me so many opportunities to grow and develop over the last eight years. Just the fact that you are working alongside talented and knowledgeable peers provides amazing continuous professional development as well the opportunities there are to participate in formal training, such as the YST Leadership Programme."

What our colleagues say

We asked Yaegan: What opportunities has YST given you to grow and develop?
"I have been trained and mentored by YST staff which has allowed me to grow and develop both personally and professionally. I have attended training workshops which have put me out of my comfort zone and have been very useful for my personal development."

What our colleagues say

We asked Hazel: What opportunities has YST given you to grow and develop?
"Over fifteen years ago the Youth Sport Trust introduced me to the concept of facilitated learning (learning through doing) and the importance of a core set of values. This has shaped my working life, opened the door to achieve positive relationships, establish strong partnerships and has been at the core of how I have developed as a person. It has become a way of life and cascades into everything I do."
